Child Protection Orders

The information below does NOT refer to children who cannot appear in promotional or marketing material.
We only use photos taken at your preschool for your selected products and packages.

CHILD PROTECTION ORDERS (CPO) CONTAINING A NO-PHOTOGRAPHY CLAUSE

SchoolPix takes student privacy and protection very seriously. If a student has a Child Protection Order with a no photography clause, we can no longer store or hold any information about them in our database. This means we cannot photograph the student individually or in a group. Unfortunately, this also means we cannot offer them the opportunity to order preschool photos.

When photography is prohibited due to a Child Protection Order, students’ names should NOT be included in the data list.

To maintain their privacy, their names should not be included in your data. The preschool is responsible for ensuring that these children do not present for photos, including group photos. If a protected child presents for a photo, our photographers will take their photo, assuming they are a new student. In such a case, the group photo must be retaken, and SchoolPix will not be held responsible for any costs incurred.

Children who don’t have a “No Photography Clause” in their Child Protection Order can be included in your class lists if they can appear in all student and preschool products.

If SchoolPix is provided with students’ names that shouldn’t be photographed, we will not be responsible for the costs of rectifying the error.
